A QUEER SMOGGIE

A Queer Smoggie is a documentation of a performance in the northern seaside town Redcar.  'Smoggie' is a term people in Teesside are labelled due to industrial pollution. The piece situates itself in the intersection of class and queer alienation behind a backdrop of industrialisation. Aiming to start a conversation about the trajectory of future automation.
